I’m a 21 year old sculpture student attending Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I’ve been making stuff since I was about 13 years old. It all started when a friend of mine sent me a webpage that outlined instructions on how to build your own lightsaber hilt from plumbing parts. From there things escalated quickly. I completed my own lightsaber, but found myself thirsty for more. The next few years became something of a game to me. I was obsessed with finding things I could build, if I had a good reason or not. It was never about building things for the pleasure of having them, but building things just to prove that I could, and it wasn’t that I needed to prove something to others, but to myself. My methods were chaotic and my supplies were cheap. As a result of my haphazard way of learning things through trial and error, I found myself knowing a little bit about everything. I continued building things, mostly movie and video game props. Ideally I would love a job in prop and set design someday, but with my ever changing interests, there’s no telling where I’ll end up in 10 years.

  1. Can you leave instructions on how to build a portable N64? I know they’d be super complicated, but it would be cool to try.
